This is the 4 series Gran Coupe. I don't know why they're making a 4 door coupe... considering the 4 series is the coupe version of the 3 series. wat

90s BMW was damn near perfect. Now it's a bloated mess... the good thing about now is that BMW is bringing diesels to their lineup

Yea I usually love em up to the bangle era, after that there are still ones I like (such as the Z4) but they all become stupider the newer they get...

I'm fine with a 4-series Gran Coupe; I'd much rather have it over the 3-series GT.

The 6-series Gran Coupe looks great, IMO. A 4-series with a more sharply-sloped roof is fine by me if they can pull it off.

Well, it would be the first in the compact 4-door coupe segment (ignoring the CLA as that's not a 3-series competitor). Where will this fit on the price scale? I can't imagine it'll be as much as a 5er.

Also FYI I love the 6er Gran Coupe.

The F30 has grown on me, looks much better in person the F10 just is blah...at this point I'm holding out until I have the monies to pick up an E91.

Yeah I don't understand why create an entire new Series to be your coupe if they're just going to do this... But I guess I'm ok with it, I can't say no to Estoril blue!

I'm actually curious if people will. Not because it doesn't make sense, but rather because (if the trend with the 6-Series GC maintains), it will cost more than a 3-Series. For some, they'll just go with the 3, because the 3 is perfectly good. For others, they might go with the 5 instead (depending on pricing), because if they can get more prestige for not much more, why not?

This is just a theory, mind you. I might be wrong, and BMW might just be trying to eliminate the number "3" from their line-up forever to eradicate the past.
